EMDR Therapy

for Trauma, Anxiety, and Emotional Triggers

For the moments that still live in your body, even if your mind has moved on.

You’ve done a lot of work on yourself. You’ve talked about the past. You’ve journaled, reflected, processed—but something still lingers. The anxiety, the tight chest, the panic, the way your body reacts in moments you thought you were “over.”

This is where EMDR can help

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps you process and release the emotional charge of painful memories or experiences—without needing to retell the full story over and over again.

Using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or sound), EMDR helps your brain reprocess difficult memories so they no longer feel as raw, intrusive, or emotionally intense. It allows your nervous system to complete what got stuck.

EMDR Can Be Especially Helpful If You:

→ Have memories or past experiences that still feel too close

→ Struggle with anxiety, panic, or looping thoughts

→ Are dealing with birth trauma or difficult postpartum transitions

→ Feel stuck in a reaction pattern you can’t logic your way out of

→ Are exhausted by always feeling “on edge,” hypervigilant, or numb

→ Know you’ve experienced trauma—even if it wasn’t “that bad”

My Approach to EMDR

EMDR can feel vulnerable—especially when you’re already worn out or used to keeping it together. I bring a calm, grounded presence into our sessions so you never feel rushed, judged, or pushed past your capacity. There’s room here for you to go at your pace.

In my practice, EMDR isn’t robotic or overly clinical. It’s embodied, relational, and deeply compassionate. We may integrate other supports like grounding tools, meditation, or even a weighted stuffed animal if that helps you feel more secure in the moment. This is your space, your healing—I'm just here to help guide it.

EMDR & Motherhood

Many of the moms I work with are carrying trauma from birth experiences, medical situations, or childhood wounds they don’t want to pass down. EMDR can help shift long-held patterns—without needing to dig into every detail or reopen old pain just to understand it.

Whether you're dealing with a single traumatic event or a long-term emotional history, we can use EMDR to help you move forward with more lightness, less reactivity, and more clarity.
