Meet Staci Morey
Therapist. Mom. Wife. Friend.
Hi, I’m Staci.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR therapist, and mom—with a real soft spot for supporting people who carry a lot. You might be the one everyone turns to, the one holding things together—but when was the last time someone asked how you were really doing?
My therapy style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. Clients often say it feels like talking to a supportive friend—one who gently challenges you when you’re stuck in overthinking or old patterns. I believe therapy should be a place where you can drop the mask, say the hard things, and never feel judged. This is your space to just be—a place where your needs truly matter.
I’ve been in the field for over a decade, starting in substance abuse treatment and now working in private practice. I’m licensed in Florida (where I see clients in-person in Boca Raton), Massachusetts, Vermont, and Texas. As a mom and a laid-back human who loves nature and volunteering at my kids' schools, I genuinely value sitting with people in their most honest moments. I call my office the Zen Den—a cozy, calming space where you can breathe deeply and feel safe being vulnerable.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Compassionate. Grounded.
Here for you.
Who I work with
I specialize in working moms and people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or depression. As you navigate everything from identity shifts and burnout to trauma and relationship challenges, you might feel overwhelmed, stuck, resentful, or just totally tapped out. You might be trying to do it all and wondering why it still doesn’t feel like enough.
Whether you're unpacking generational dynamics, processing trauma, setting boundaries, or learning how to slow down and reconnect with yourself—you're in the right place.
We’ll talk. We’ll laugh. We might cry. And you’ll leave feeling a little more like yourself again.
My approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and flexible. I bring my whole self into the room (or the Zoom) and invite you to do the same. I believe in self-disclosure (sharing my own experiences) when it’s helpful—not to shift focus, but to say: I see you. I get it. You're not alone.
When it makes sense, I use tools that work for you like EMDR, mindfulness practices, essential oils, sound bowls, and even a weighted therapy bear—because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sometimes we go deep. Sometimes you just need to talk it out.
Either way, we’ll go at your pace.
Credentials, Tools & Style
I’ve been in the field since 2014 and in private practice since 2017. I’m licensed in Florida, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Texas. I hold certifications in:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C)
Qualified Supervisor for Clinicians
With your consent, we can try a number of tools in our sessions to see what resonates. I believe in flexibility in therapy and keep different options for grounding in my office such as a sand tray, a sound bowl, a weight bear, essential oils and a vagus nerve stimulator.
We may also try meditation as well as mindfulness techniques in order to help you cope with hard moments. And I’ll always adjust based on what you need that day.
